Just a quick blog-maintenance update. I'm sorry if you've been bumping into pop-ups on my blog. I've been using Sitemeter for blog stats for years, and apparently at some point they've turned to the dark side and started randomly forcing interstitial ads into the sites using them.
I'd thought I had malware on my PC, but a little research showed me I'm not the only person who has encountered this problem.
I've removed the Sitemeter code from the blog, so the problem should go away.

I've never actually had a pop-up while reading your blog. Maybe because I am on a Mac, I dunno.
