I gather that Hormel built a bacon-powered* motorcycle. And they promptly found some guy to set out on a ride from Austin, Minnesota to San Diego, California on it.
I have to admire that.
They have a website about the trip here. It's not particularly informative, but it does have a few more photos of the bike.

Richard M & Chris Cope - I guess Chris answered the question. I'd been wondering the same thing, but hadn't looked that deeply into it. Probably because I was distracted by the novelty of a bacon-powered motorcycle.
