Did You Know About This?

Apparently, Honda builds choppers now, and has been doing so for a while.  I guess I'm not paying enough attention to current motorcycle news - particularly motorcycle news related to choppers.

So, if you want an inexpensive chopper that looks reasonably good, maybe the Honda Fury is for you.  Do people still like choppers?  I get the impression that the chopper fad has passed, again, at least until it comes back around in 10 years.

Looks uncomfortable

I am a full-sized man so I need the motorcycle equivalent of a Cadillac, and I found it in the HD Road King

I see a few custom choppers around Denver Metro, but the lion's share of the bikes I see are stock- about 60/40 between HDs and sport bikes- and most of those HDs are full dressers

The owners of Discount Motorcycle Parts in Eugene each have one. His and hers. He got rid of his Valkyrie for his and loved it so much she bought one too.

Not for me but some seem to like them.

I saw one of these on the road today, and it looked quite nice. It is small though, although the woman who was riding it seemed to fit it well.

When they first came out a while back, I seen quite a few of them. The owners didn't seem to want to talk much about them. I don't know if they were just tired of talking about them or the ride position gave them a bad attitude.

They look great, but not my type of riding style. Leave it to Honda to make a chopper with a reliable drive train that costs at half of what anyone else can even begin to make a chopper for.

They're nice bikes, but I can't see myself on one. I was puzzled by Honda's intro of these. They're less nimble than the VTX with no discernible advantage. My guess is, some asshole in the marketing department convinced everyone this would be a good idea given the popularity of American Chopper.

Btw, riding season came early to Minnesota this year. Noam is a happy boy!
