Was There An Unusually High Number Of Idiots On The Road Today?
I was witness to a whole lot of stupid incidents in traffic today, including some joker in a big white pick-'em-up blasting through a red light at forty, nearly creaming a smaller truck, and another joker who tried her best, despite numerous horn blasts from more attentive drivers, to run over a little girl on her bicycle crossing the street with the light, in a crosswalk.

It's universal "drive like a dick day", sw a car run red light today, amongst other things. !!!
It's disturbing how more and more people seem to regard traffic signs and signals as suggestions...

Is traffic idiocy universal? I like the way you put this and the answer to the question is YES IT IS...
I have ridden a scooter in Taipei Taiwan and I am not Chinese and in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia...I managed to behave in the same idiotic way every body else did while they were riding or just simply driving in cages, which is probably what saved my life. I'll see if I can find some of my pictures riding in Asia and do a post...you'll then decide how easy we have it in traffic here.

Can't say I had too many crazies on my commute today, but read a news report that a motor officer was left-hooked by a little old lady this morning. (Serious, but okay)
