Finally, Fall.

It was a brisk 57 degrees on my ride in to work this morning. I, perhaps, should have worn my fleece.

I'm just glad the heat appears, for now, to be over for this year.

And with the delightful fall weather comes this year's Nanowrimo. If you've been dying for some more adventures featuring everyone's favorite unemployed biker gods, well, you'll be able to follow along with this year's attempt here: http://holyrollersrogues.blogspot.com/

The fiction begins November 1.

I too love fall - it's what follows that makes me crazy. I'd be fine with 6 months of summer followed by 6 months of fall, but no, that's not how it works up here. :(

I spent this week commuting in 47F weather in the mornings and 79F weather in the afternoons. I have no complaints on the weather, with the liner in my Joe Rocket jacket and my thick gloves on, it was comfortable. Another 10 degrees and I'll have to resort to the electric gloves and some fleece. But it sure beats all the sweating a month ago in the return trip.

My only complaint is the traffic in this city.

Enjoy it while it lasts, Fall is our shortest season round here...
