Essential Desert Gear: Cool-dana

I picked up a Cool-dana over the weekend since we were going to an outdoor festival and it seemed like it might be a nice thing to have.

And it was.

Yesterday was the first time I tried using such a thing on the motorcycle, and I have to say, it's pretty awesome. Of course, it was completely dry by the time I got home, but it was very pleasant for the first half of my ride.

Anything that adds a little comfort to riding in the desert summer is a good thing.

Lucky:

I think we have similar ones up here which we purchased years ago but I have never tried it. I'll have to see if I can located it and try it out on our trip to Oregon. We are going to pass through Astoria in a couple of weeks. Wished you were there to have a piece of your pizza. I thought you would have moved by now

it's me again, I also wanted a Honda Element. I just love the box shape and it is so roomy inside too. sort of like a space ship, and the windshield is so far away

mq01 - Stay cool!

bobskoot - I'm jealous that you're going to Oregon. I thought I'd have moved by now too, but the housing market has kind of complicated my plans...

With luck, we'll be up there for a vacation - at least - this winter.
