Why I Like the Speed Four So Very Much

So the weather is finally cooling down a little bit here in the desert. Yesterday for my ride home it was a cool 103 degrees outside. I thoroughly enjoyed the brisk fall weather, as you can imagine.

This morning, the temperature was GLORIOUS.

Anyway, I rolled the bike out of the garage as usual, hit the starter and I swear the bike went "WOOHOO!" before settling into it's idle.

I love the Speed Four.

I'm having a bit of difficulty reconciling 103 degrees and the idea of "brisk fall weather", but if it makes it better for riding, great!

You are incorrigible. Especially when it comes to messing with people. Maybe that's why I like you. Of course, then I have to consider what that says about me.

Let's just not go there, shall we?

Canajun - yeah, no one understands how 103 degrees can be "cool" until they've ridden in 115 degree weather.

mq01 - I'm glad too. This has been a brutal summer.

irondad - Yeah, it seems to me I know a fella up in Oregon that likes to start a ruckus here and there too...

I love my Speed Four ever and always because of the great time we had traveling from South Florida to Austin, TX via Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana! (1900 miles, 5 days in Oct. 2008)
