A Little Something Nifty For Ya

This guy built a wooden Vespa.

He's my new hero.

When is someone going to build a wooden Ducati superbike?

I love it. Living in Minnesota I could ride year round and not worry about the salt. I'm trying to build a guitar right now and must say that the wooden Vespa would be quite the challenge.

That is gorgeous. I wonder how long it took him to make. I hope it doesn't swell when it gets wet, lol. In all seriousness, great craftmanship.

Quite the work of art, and the fact that it's rideable (in good weather only I assume) is a bonus.

I'd love to hear the builder's story. What on earth would possess him to put hundreds (thousands?) of hours into something like this?

You'll get your wooden Ducati when someone breaks off from the Vespa club and starts their own "splinter" group!

This is an Engineering feast...Just love it. Thanks for sharing...I wonder how it would withstand the heat from the engine... Would it become a Bar-B-Q
