Headin' for SoCal again!

Next week I'm going to ride out to San Diego again for a few days. Hopefully I'll get to carve up some delightful Cali roads and, of course, eat new delicious pizzas.

So, I thought I should ask y'all if you know of any good SoCal pizza joints. Do you?

How about some roads that I have to seek out?

I just found out that the "Legend of the Motorcycle" show is going on up near San Francisco next weekend. I'm mildly bummed that I won't be able to make it. The trip from San Francisco back to Phoenix is pretty long for one day on a sportbike with a stock seat(752 miles/11-ish hours). I'm sure I could handle the trip on Sunday (he says optimistically), but I'm guessing my butt would demand the following Monday off.

And, of course, the only way to righteously attend such an event would be on a bike.

Next year, I guess.

If you are going to be in San Clemente go to "LaRoccos", or if in Costa Mesa "Dorias Haus of Pizza", or in Lake Forest "Biagios"... Have a safe trip.

Rubino's has a few locations in SoCal, Mission Viejo and Santa Ana. That's my fav.

I live between San Diego & LA, and ride all throughout SoCal. Here are some of my favorite roads...

1. Sunrise Hwy (S1), SD County, between Pine Valley and Lake Cuyamaca.

2. Hwy 94, SD County, from Chula Vista to Jacumba.

3. Little Tujunga Canyon Rd, LA County, from Santa Clarita to Sunland.

4. Palms to Pines Hwy (Hwy 74), Riverside County, from Hemet to Palm Desert.

Casa Bianca Pizza Pie, in Eagle Rock.

Casa Bianca looks like a righteous pizza joint. I don't know if I'll make it up there on this trip, but it's definitely going on my list of places to visit.

I expect I'm going to have to make a trip to L.A. soon.
