Quick Link to a Cool Blog

In 1919, a Royal Air Force captain rode a Henderson motorcycle across the United States. This guy is following his path.

I read this book over the winter. It's free on Google Books.

It's hard to imagine what it would have been like. He rebuilt the entire engine a few times before he reached his destination and STILL was happy with it's performance. I get mad at any breakdown, let alone an entire rebuild.

I found it funny that the British had a love/hate attitude for many American ways even back then.

I'll check out the blog and I certainly recommend the book.

Thanks for posting. I just starting reading this book online. I love travelogues from back in the day, car or motorcycle.
