British Motorcycle Club Documentary

I'm not exactly sure what I think about this, but I guess the important thing is they're on bikes...

Didn't you get the impression that the bikes are fashion accessories to "the look" (to quote one of the stars)?

Therefore, as ambassadors of the ideas behind biking, they're doing a piss poor job in my opinion.

A bit harsh? Possibly.

They're not doing any harm as a social club of course, and they're free to blow their cash on whatever presses their collective buttons.

However, Rush Hour Rambling's Gary Charpentier (and of course your good self) was several powers of ten better at promoting the ethos behind, and practicalities of, riding a motorcycle.

Scratch that....not just "riding a motorcycle", instead substitute "being a biker".

Andy - Yes, I did get that impression. It's a tough thing though, because I hate to tell anyone THEIR way of enjoying a motorcycle is "wrong." I have elitist tendencies anyhow, and I try to keep them in check.

But the one guy pretty much summed it up when he said he had the look down but didn't own a bike.

Also - Thanks!

Unlike the London poseurs, this guy is the real deal of biking http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/wales/south_east/7830616.stm
