Well, that was a refreshing day off.
This morning I rode in to work. Lady Luck has the day off, as do most of the people in our state. The problem with being a professional computer nerd is there always needs to be one dork on duty. It's my turn in the barrel today.
I didn't see anyone else on their bikes this morning. Not even one other motorcycle. I mean, sure, it's kind of chilly, and the roads were wet, and it was dark out, but come ON! I can't believe how few people ride during the winter here in the desert. Here, as anywhere else, if you only ride on the nice days, you only get to ride once or twice a year. What's the point of that?

I would give anything to have a chilly and wet commute to work at the moment, but with the temperatures hovering in the single digits and over two feet of snow on the ground........
Chilly and wet sounds like a perfect day to ride.

Lucky, sorry that I missed seeing you, but I didn't leave until 7:30. I traveled from West Glendale out to Gilbert. The thermometer on my dash read 36 on the trip over and climbed to a warm 45 on the return trip at 12:30. It wasn't really too bad, but a bit more sun would have been great.
Chilly and Wet, that's what we are hoping for. Right now my car has been 'snowed' in since last Tuesday. Can't even cage it. Chilly and Wet would be a tremendous improvement. it would also be great to be Chilly and Wet and Dark.
