Queen's Bakery & Pizzeria - Lightning Quick Review!

Located in the charming, if kind of desolate, historic downtown strip along Main Street in Mesa, Queen's Bakery & Pizzeria is one of two restaurants that actually stays open for dinner in the area (the other being Mango's, a wonderful Mexican joint).

The new owners are wonderful folks, and they've really improved the quality of the pizza. The sauce, in particular, makes the place.

Wonderful art (for sale) adorns the walls, and the tables themselves are each unique works of art.

So, if you're in the area, go have some. They get 4 Crying Luckies.

Historic Mesa. That doesn't sound quite right.

How far afield are you having to wander these days to find new ? I think you're doing the review thing just to have a place to ride to!!

Chris - Didn't you live in SoCal for a while? If so, you understand how a building from the 1960's is historic. Of course you're over there in Europe now, where history was invented.

irondad - Not as far as you'd think, in this case. There are pizza joints everywhere down here. You got me on using them as a place to ride to, though. I volunteer to go get stuff at the grocery store too...
